Dublin airport to Wicklow

by Paula | post a comment

A new early-morning commuter bus service from Wicklow to Dublin Airport will be very convenient for air travellers.

The route of the existing 133 Wicklow-Dublin service is to be extended to Dublin Airport via the Port Tunnel.

I
n May twelve new coaches will come into service. Bus Éireann is also talking to the local authorities about ‘park-and-ride’ sites in Wicklow and Kells, Co Meath.

Commuters from Wicklow, Rathnew, Ashford, Newtownmountkennedy and Kilmacanogue will now have easy access to Dublin Airport seven days a week by public transport. The new route is expected to provide a great service.

It will operate every 30 minutes from Wicklow, from 04.30am until 11.00am, and then operate hourly until 9pm. Return services will operate from Dublin Airport until 11pm, running every half hour during the peak evening period.
